Carole King Performs at 20th Anniversary Celebration of Newman's Own

NEW YORK, NY - Carole King opened a special one-hour star-studded program honoring Paul Newman and his business partner and friend A.E. Hotchner, at the NYC Central Park Boathouse, in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Newman's Own. Joining King on the program were friends Bette Midler, Michael J. Fox, Harry Belafonte, Tony Randall, Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins with words of praise for Paul's generosity.

Newman's Own, the all-natural line of food products which gives away 100% of its after-tax profits to charity, began in a basement over 20 years ago. The total profits donated to charity by Newman's Own since its founding in 1982 have now surpassed the $125 million mark.
