An all-star evening of performances for “You've Got A Friend: A Live Celebration of Carole King and Her Music” was held Tuesday, December 4 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, CA.

Carole performed alongside Alicia Keys, Katy Perry, John Legend, Jesse McCartney, Amy Grant, Jakob Dylan, Herb Alpert, Lani Hall, Nikki Yanofsky, Darlene Love and Merry Clayton.

Playlist: The Very Best of Carole King, a compilation CD by Carole's long-time producer and collaborator, Lou Adler, was released October 9, 2012 by Sony Legacy. 

The CD includes many of Carole's most popular and recognizable songs such as, "It's Too Late", "Jazzman", "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman", "Sweet Seasons" and many more. A highlight included in the CD packaging, are liner notes written by friends and fellow songwriters, Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil.    

Natural Women, Natural Leaders, a public panel discussion featuring special guest Carole King, was held at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, NH on September 29th, 2012.

The panel, moderated by Neera Tanden (President of the Center for American Progress) also included: Maggie Hassan (NH Gov. Candidate – pictured left with Carole), Mary Hughes (Founder of the 2012 Project), Marianne Jones (Exec. Dir. of the NH Women's Fund) and Carole Shea Porter (NH Congressional Candidate).
