New Addition Welcomed to Carole King's Living Room

LOS ANGELES, CA - This July, Carole King took 'The Living Room Tour' on the road for a handful of dates on the East Coast, starting in Clearwater, Florida on July 9, 2008 at the Ruth Eckerd Hall.

As a treat to the audiences, a new musician was added to the tried-and-true Living Room Tour lineup of long-time Musical Director Rudy Guess and Nashville singer/songwriter Gary Burr.

"I thought it would be a nice change to bring a new element into the show," commented Carole. "Because the Living Room Tour has always been about songwriting, it makes sense to add another one of my favorite songwriters - Louise Goffin." If the name sounds familiar; it should. Louise is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who released her first album in 1979 and has been writing, recording and touring ever since. In fact, her 8-song EP, Bad Little Animals, was released on the independent label, Majority of One in June 2008.

The Living Room Tour also included shows in Hollywood (Florida), Mashantucket (Connecticut) and ended up in Niagara Falls, Ontario on July 13th, 2008
