Carole King Performs at Two Inaugural Events

WASHINGTON, DC - The Presidential Inaugural Committee invited Carole King to perform at two Official Events during the 2009 Inaugural Celebration.

On Sunday morning, she performed at the Finance Welcome Brunch at the National Building, which also included appearances from BeBe Winans, Yolanda Adams and the Dartmouth Gospel Choir. Yolanda joined Carole for "(You Make Me Feel Like a) Natural Woman," and everyone joined in for a rousing version of "Loco-Motion.

On Monday night, she was the featured talent at the Bi-Partisan Dinner to honor Vice President-elect Joe Biden, which was held at Union Station. A true Bi-Partisan event, the night included remarks from Governor Tim Kaine, Senator Chuck Hagel, Vice President Joe Biden and President Barack Obama.
