Carole King Returns to 'Morning Joe'
NEW YORK, NY - Fresh on the heels of her Inaugural week appearance on the program, Carole King returned to MSNBC's "Morning Joe" to discuss the Northern Rockies Ecosystem Protection Act, which was introduced into the 111th Congress on February 11, 2009 (subsequently introduced in the 112th Congress on 11/3/2011).
NREPA "has something for everybody," said King. "These lands are owned by all Americans and this bill has economic benefits...it creates jobs."
NREPA is co-sponsored by Senator Carolyn Maloney (D-NY), who is the Chairwoman of the Joint Economic Committe, and Senator Raul Grijalva (D-AZ), who is the Chairman of the Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests and Public Lands.
