Carole King Brings 'The Living Room Tour' Down Under

MELBOURNE, VIC – On the eve of her first ever concert in Australia, Carole King has already made her presence known in the country.

First up on the morning of November 14, 2006 was a performance on Sunrise.

On her way to the Channel 7 studios to appear on 'Brekky Central,' Carole said , "When I got on the plane November 12th, I realized that by crossing the International Date Line, I was never going to experience November 13, 2006 on this earth. Wow, I thought. November 14th already? Where did the time go? Then, last night, I looked out at Sydney Harbour. When I saw the Opera House gleaming in the late spring sunlight like a set of giant white sails against the blue South Pacific water, I thought, Today is a good day. Thank you."

Carole performed "You've Got a Friend" and "I Feel the Earth Move" with bandmembers Rudy Guess and Gary Burr, and was interviewed by the program's hosts, Mel and Kochie (pronounced KAH-shee).
