King's "Living Room Tour 2005" Earns Raves

Carole King's latest release "The Living Room Tour" (Rockingale/Concord/Starbuck Hear Music) live 2 cd set - has debuted at #17 on the Billboard album chart. The album's twenty-seven songs span King's 40+ year career and were all recorded on her 2004 tour of the same name.

King, a singing/songwriting icon and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, was recently the subject of a feature segment on NPR's Weekend Edition Saturday, and also performed July 15, 2005 on the Today Show's Summer Concert Series. CBS Sunday Morning aired a feature on King, Sunday, July 24, 2005.

King's Living Room Tour 2005 has been earning raves. Of her sold-out show at Radio City Music Hall - her first New York performance in over twelve years - the NY Daily News declared "King sounds as strong - and looks as good - as she did decades ago."
