Elon Green of The New Yorker, recently shared with readers, a wonderful step back in musical history with a story told by Beverly Lee of The Shirelles.
During a concert in England in 1964, Beverly describes their very special performance of 'Will You Love Me Tomorrow" the best-selling song in the United States in 1960 written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King. The article includes a vintage video recording of the performance.
